What a grand Lady

Hi Everyone,
This morning after getting a defining sense of self after
having breakfast and hot chocolates at Starbucks,
we went to the local street vendor and got a bagel
and shmear and a donut.  I don't know how they do
their donuts here but they are totally unlike ours at
home.
They are not greasy, they are beautiful and soft,
taste fresh and sweet but not too sweet.

We found this just up from our hotel this morning

Then off to Rockerfeller Center to go up to the Top
of the Rock. Rockerfeller Plaza is 70 stories high when
you are on top of it and it is open air right on top and
absolutely freezing today, We couldn't keep our hands
out of our gloves for very long before we couldn't stand it.
We had frozen eye ball without even eating ice cream!
Also to compare the buildings Empire State is 102 stories
high. The Rock gives a great view of Empire State.

Rockerfeller Center has its own ice skating rink and
they play music so the people can skate to it.  Very
pretty.

Top of the Rock.

On the Hudson River crossing over on the ferry to see
the Statue of Liberty.

Here she is a most Grand Lady,
The statue of Liberty.  We went inside the
monument and it is really amazing and of
course looking at the city from the top of
the pedestal gave a most awe inspiring
view of the cityscape.

that we get to take you all on this journey with us.
Tomorrow we head out of New York and depending
on the conditions we'll be heading up to Massachussets
we will phone home as always and we'll be keeping in
touch just the same way.
Love you Troy and Marc
Love you everyone
